ACFF23
12-14 October at Husets Biograf

The Annual Copenhagen Film Festival expands to three days and takes place for its 7th consecutive year from 12-14 October with a richer and more diverse programme. Setting our screen once again at our beloved Husets Biograf, this edition features 27 independent films that span 6 different themes touching upon gender identity, ethics, and everyday stories.

Attracting a mixed audience of Copenhageners and the city's newcomers, the Annual Copenhagen Film Festival has become a meeting point for local and international cinephiles, filmmakers and industry experts.

Taking place at the Husets Biograf since its first edition, ACFF24 returns once again at the cosy halls of the vibrant cultural centre putting independent cinema in the epicentre with a fresh programme of international shorts and feature films.

This year, ACFF expands and for the first time will take place for three days, aiming to highlight even more filmmakers from around the world. This year's Festival received 2900 submissions from around 360 countries worldwide. We are excited that so many talented international artists chose the Annual Copenhagen Film Festival to screen their films and to see that our community keeps widening.

Separated into 2 screening slots per day, the programme features in total 6 different thematics. Putting humans in the epicentre, each slot examines other aspects of human dilemmas, gender and sex issues, as well as personal relationships through stories we can all identify with.
